MIDLAND COUNTY -- Drivers who use a major intersection near Gardendale could soon see some major delays.

TXDOT crews will be smoothing out rough spots at the intersection of TX 158 and F.M. 1788 in northwest Midland County on December 6th and 10th.

Certain lanes near the intersection will be closed at 8 AM on both days.

Traffic patterns could change several times during the day as work is underway, although workers will try to maintain access to the intersection as much as possible.

Drivers are encouraged to use other routes, if possible.

Drivers who do head through the intersection should obey all flaggers and warning signs in the area.
