Missing Carlsbad (NM) Man Makes Contact With Family; Police Continue Search

CARLSBAD, NM -- Carlsbad, NM police say that a man who was reported missing close to a week ago has had contact with family members.

    Dustin Doyal was reported as missing on November 30th, and he was originally believed to be in danger.

    Doyal, 23, is no longer listed as missing.

    However, at the request of the family, Carlsbad Police are searching for Doyal in order to perform a welfare check.

    Police say that Doyal is 6'4" tall and he weighs 175 pounds.

    Doyal reportedly has light brown hair and blue eyes.

    Officers say that Doyal has the word "Wrangler" tattooed across his back, a spade tattoo on the inside of his right arm, the words "Rise Above" tattooed on his chest and a cross tattoo with the word "Doyal" running through it on his chest.

    Doyal is likely driving a white 2012 G.M.C. Sierra pickup truck with the New Mexico license plate 837-RSC.

    The truck reportedly has has damage to its right side doors.

    Anyone who knows where Doyal might be should call Carlsbad Police at (575) 885-2111.
