ODESSA -- A man accused of shooting 3 law enforcement officers in West Odessa back in 2010 will be getting his date in court this week.

Jury selection is set to begin in the trial against Victor Dewayne White on December 11th in the 358th District Court in Odessa.

White is charged with 5 counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

White has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

White's accused of shooting 2 Ector County Sheriff's deputies, a Lubbock Police officer and 2 other people at his compound on September 17, 2010.

After the shooting, White reportedly went back into his home and engaged about 150 law enforcement officers in a shootout, which quickly turned into a prolonged standoff.

The standoff ended 22 hours later, when White's house caught fire.
