MARLIN -- A  bomb threat that evacuated a Central Texas school earlier this week appears to have come from a West Texas jail.

KXXV-TV in Waco is reporting that the bomb threat -- which led police to evacuate Marlin Elementary School on December 10th -- was made by an inmate at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

Parents of students at Marlin Elementary School picked up their kids after the precautionary evacuation.

No bomb was found at the scene.

Marlin Police say they could file charges against the inmate accused of making the bomb threat.

The accused inmate's name isn't being released at this time.
