ALPINE -- Dry conditions continue across much of West Texas, and the area's largest county could soon bring back a burn ban.

Brewster County Commissioners will discuss the possibility of bringing back the county's burn ban at their next meeting on December 17th.

Commissioners will also talk about a possible fireworks ban at the meeting.

The Brewster County Emergency Management Department says that conditions are dangerously dry in the Big Bend region.

Fire risk is also expected to be high through the weekend due to windy conditions.

Residents should be very careful if they're burning anything over the weekend.
