PRESIDIO -- Customs and Border Patrol agents seize more than $22,000 in cash at a West Texas border checkpoint.

C.B.P. agents found the cash in a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck that was crossing from Mexico into the United States at the Presidio Port-of-Entry.

The driver allegedly told agents that they had less than $10,000 in the vehicle.

However, agents searched the pickup truck, and they allegedly found $22,805 split between two travelers in the vehicle.

C.B.P. agents then seized the money and the truck.

C.B.P. agents haven't said if the driver or passenger will face any charges for the incident.
