West Texas Has Lowest Unemployment In Lone Star State For November

MIDLAND -- As the holidays approach, the unemployment rate in West Texas is dropping.

    Overall, Texas' unemployment rate fell from 6.6 percent in October to 6.2 percent in November.
   
    Texas' unemployment rate was also well below the November national unemployment rate (7.7 percent).

    Midland had the lowest unemployment rate in Texas for November, at 3 percent.

    Odessa's November unemployment rate of 3.6 percent came in second in the Lone Star State.
