Driver Runs Red Light, Three Cars Damaged

ODESSA -- Three vehicles were damaged when a driver ran a red light at the intersection of 52nd and Dixie in Odessa around 4:45 p.m. in Odessa Saturday.

Officials on the scene said one car was traveling west bound on 52nd street passing through the red light at Dixie when it was hit by a car traveling south bound on Dixie. The car traveling down Dixie had the right away, however on impact the right away car ended up spinning out and hitting a truck.

The driver that ran the red light was transported to the hospital after complaining of neck pains. That driver was also issued a ticket. No one else was injured.
