Officer & Bystander Fatally Shot In Houston

BELLAIRE -- A police officer and an innocent bystander were shot to death in suburban Houston Monday morning.
It all started when the officer tried to a carry out a traffic stop.
The driver fled in his car to an auto parts store parking lot, where the gunfire began.
Police say the driver shot and killed a bystander, then exchanged gunfire with the officer. The officer was hit and died at a hospital.
The driver was also hit and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police don't know what set him off.
