REAGAN COUNTY -- The FAA is now investigating a hard landing made by a medical helicopter on Saturday.

DPS says that a Medtran helicopter was taking two nurses and a patient from Fort Stockton to San Angelo when it began to have problems.

That's when the chopper made a hard landing at the Reagan County Airport. The Big Lake Wildcat reports that the impact knocked the tail off and also damaged one of the helicopter blades.

One nurse, Beth Cooper, was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after the crash.
