MIDLAND -- Power has been restored to everyone affected by New Year's Eve power outages in the Midland-Odessa area.

ONCOR officials tell Big 2 that some equipment failed at a substation near the Midland International Airport on December 31st.

Some power lines also went down in the area.

At one point, about 600 homes and businesses were in the dark -- including Big 2.

ONCOR is now reporting that they've restored power for everyone affected.
