Increased Reward Offered For Assistance Capture Of Man Who Allegedly Drove At Martin Co. Sheriff's Deputy

MIDLAND -- Midland Crimestoppers is offering a significant reward for a man accused of trying to run over a Martin County Sheriff's deputy.

    The first person who calls Midland Crimestoppers with information leading to the arrest of Eric Ray Perez could get up to a $1,000 cash reward.

    Perez, 25, is wanted out of Dawson, Ector, Lubbock, Martin and Midland counties for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, identity theft and evading arrest charges.

    Perez allegedly drove at a Martin County Sheriff's deputy who tried to arrest him outside Stanton on December 27th.

    Perez reportedly ran away from a traffic stop near the Midland International Airport on New Year's Day.

    Authorities searched the area for Perez for several hours before calling off the search.

    Perez is 6' tall and he weighs 194 pounds.

    Perez has black hair and brown eyes.

    Perez has a tattoo of a cross on his back, a tattoo of a Cadillac symbol on his right arm and a tattoo of the grim reaper on his left arm.
