WEST ODESSA -- A West Odessa family loses their mobile home in a fire.

The flames broke out in the bedroom of a home in the 9900 block of West Westridge Drive around 8:55 PM on January 6th.

West Odessa Volunteer firefighters put out the blaze within an hour, but they say that the home is now unlivable.

Luckily, no one was home at the time the fire broke out, and no one was injured.

The American Red Cross of Southwest Texas is helping out the family that lived at the home.

As of 8 PM Monday, firefighters haven't determined the cause of the fire.
