Shooter Fires At Carlsbad, NM School Buses With Pellet Gun

CARLSBAD, NM -- Carlsbad (NM) Police are looking for someone who allegedly shot at 2 school buses with a pellet gun.

    Carlsbad Police say that someone shot at a bus that was traveling south on 6th Street with a pellet gun around 4 PM on January 9th.

    The bus didn't suffer any damage in the incident.

    Another bus that was heading south on 8th Street near Texas Street was also reportedly shot with pellets..

    A bus window reportedly broke during the incident

    Each bus was carrying students at the time of the shootings, although no injuries were reported.

    Both bus drivers say the shooter was driving a dark blue 4-door Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

    The vehicle is either a 1998-1999 model or a 2012-2013 model.
