MIDLAND -- A Big Spring woman is killed and a man is seriously injured in a crash in Glasscock County.

This crash happened at the intersection of F.M. 821 and U.S. 87 around 7:10 AM Monday.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers tell Big 2 that Sandy Creswell Allen was driving a black G.M.C. Yukon on F.M. 821 when she ran a stop sign at the U.S. 87 intersection.

A white Ford pickup truck that was driving northbound on U.S. 87 smashed into the Yukon.

Allen, 49, was pronounced dead after the crash.

Troopers say that Allen was from Big Spring.

The driver of the pickup truck -- 23-year-old Kolton Kurtis Linthicum of Odessa -- was airlifted to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries after the crash.

No one else was involved in the wreck.
