DALLAS -- A man accused of murdering another man in an Odessa parking lot late last year has landed behind bars.

Eric Wayne Hill was arrested at around 10:50 PM on January 20th in Dallas.

Hill, 34, is now charged with felony first degree murder.

Odessa Police say that Hill shot John Anthony Munroy in the head at the M.C.M. Elegante parking lot in the 5200 block of East University Boulevard around 1 AM on November 11, 2012.

Munroy, 29, died at the scene.

Odessa Police say the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Dallas Police Department, Louisiana State Police and the Minden (LA) Police Department helped them identify Hill as a suspect.

Dallas Police then moved in to arrest Hill.

As of Monday, Hill was being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond.

Hill was waiting to be moved to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center Monday.
