ODESSA -- Odessa Police are looking for someone who stabbed a teenager in the chest during an altercation.

Officers say that Alex Ramirez was driving home with a family member around 10:20 PM on January 26th when he noticed he was being followed by a man in a pickup truck.

Ramirez, 18, reportedly pulled over near the intersection of West 16th Street and Alameda Avenue, in order to confront the driver of the pickup truck.

The two men quickly began fighting, and police say the driver of the pickup truck stabbed Ramirez in the chest.

Ramirez was rushed to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ramirez told police that he didn't know the man who stabbed him.

Police say the suspect is a 21-year-old white man who was wearing a black sweater and blue jeans.

The suspect is reportedly 5'7" tall, and he weighs 150 pounds.

Anyone who has any information on this incident should call Odessa Police at (432) 333-3641.
