ODESSA -- Testimony continued Wednesday in a trial against a man accused of killing a Midland man in his own home.

Christopher M. Hill is charged with murder for the shooting death of Jeremy Johnson.

Prosecutors say that Hill, 26, shot Johnson, 28, multiple times in the living room of Johnson's home at 911 North Weatherford Street on September 18, 2011.

The two men had reportedly gotten into an argument before the shooting took place.

Johnson was rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital after the shooting, but he didn't survive.

M.M.H. was also locked down overnight after Johnson was admitted.

Hill went on the run after the shooting, but U.S. Marshals arrested him at a hotel in Seminole County, FL on September 29, 2011.

During Wednesday's proceedings, prosecutors played the interrogation tape from Hill's arrest.

The hour-long tape reportedly showed indications that the shooting was drug related.

Midland detectives also testified that they found the alleged murder weapon weeks after the crime near TX 158 and U.S. 385 in Gardendale.

The trial will continue on January 31st.
