ODESSA -- An Odessa man is accused of breaking into several vehicles and homes and stealing items.

Brandon Wayne Pollock was arrested on January 30th.

Odessa Police say that Pollock, 26, broke into a vehicle in the Music City Mall parking lot on the night of January 30th.

The owner of the vehicle reportedly caught Pollock sitting in their vehicle, but police say Pollock ran off into the mall.

Moments later, officers say that Pollock tried to break into another vehicle at the Woodland Apartments (5050 Tanglewood Lane).

The owner of that vehicle reportedly caught Pollock in the act and detained him until police arrived to arrest him.

Now, Pollock is charged with burglary of a vehicle, possession of a prohibited weapon and two outstanding warrants for burglary of a habitation.

As of Thursday evening, Pollock was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $2,000 bond.
