ECTOR COUNTY -- A man who went missing 2 weeks ago has been found dead in Ector County.

Ector County Sheriff's deputies tell Big 2 that Jason Belin's body was found in a pond in the 100 block of Proctor Avenue on February 2nd.

A Texas Department of Public Safety dive team pulled the body from the pond, which was filled with about 8 feet of water.

However, it took officials until Monday to confirm that the body was Belin's.

Belin, 23, was last seen alive outside of Jaguar's Gold Club (6824 Cargo Road) on the night of January 24th.

Belin and some friends were reportedly kicked out of the club, but Belin allegedly jumped a fence to the west of the club.

The pond where Belin's body was found was reportedly close to Jaguar's Gold Club and Cargo Road.
