Authorities Looking For Copper Wire Burglars In Ector County

ODESSA -- Law enforcement in Odessa are asking for help in finding some oilfield burglars.

    Officials with Odessa Crime Stoppers say that several men stole at least one spool of copper wire from an oilfield yard north of Odessa, near the Ector County - Andrews County line.

    Surveillance footage indicates that the heist happened on the night of January 16th.

    Law enforcement believe that there might have been other people involved in the heist as well, but only 2 people were caught on surveillance video.

    Odessa Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to arrests in this case, and tipsters will be able to remain anonymous.
