ODESSA -- An Odessa man is accused of attacking two law enforcement officers near Medical Center Hospital.

Ezekiel Isaac Anderson was arrested on February 9th.

Ector County Hospital District police reportedly found Anderson, 26, snorting an unknown substance while he was sitting on the tailgate of a vehicle in the 500 block of West 4th Street around 4 PM on February 9th.

When E.C.H.D. officers tried to detain Anderson, he allegedly kicked an officer in the leg.

Odessa Police were called to the scene, and an officer was able to restrain Anderson.

However, as officers were placing Anderson in the back of a police cruiser, he reportedly stomped on an Odessa Police officer's right foot.

    Neither officer required medical treatment.

Anderson then reportedly kicked the back window of the patrol cruiser until it shattered.

Now, Anderson is charged with two counts of felony assault on a public servant and one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief.

Anderson wasn't listed in jail records at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on Monday.
