ODESSA -- An Odessa man is accused of stealing a car from an auto dealership.

Pedro Berdoza Tavarez was arrested early Thursday morning.

Odessa Police say that Tavarez, 21, broke into Premium Motors (101 East 8th Street) around 3 AM on Thursday and stole a black Chrysler 300.

Tavarez also reportedly stole keys to other vehicles.

Officers found out about the heist when an alarm went off, and they noticed that someone had broken through a garage door.

Police later found the stolen Chrysler as it was heading eastbound on East 8th Street.

Officers pulled over the car and arrested Tavarez.

Police also say that the missing keys to other vehicles were in the Chrysler.

Now, Tavarez is charged with felony unauthorized use of a vehicle.

As of Thursday evening, Tavarez wasn't listed in jail records in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
