Man Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison For Big Bend Kidnapping

ALPINE -- An convicted Big Bend kidnapper will spend the next 3 years in a Texas prison.

    Jurors in the 394th Judicial District Court sentenced Jose Luis Hernandez, Jr. to 3 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on February 15th.

    Officials with the Brewster County Sheriff's Office say that Hernandez had previously been convicted for a kidnapping that had occurred several years before the trial, but deputies haven't released more information on the incident.
