MIDLAND -- A Midland County man is accused of getting a young girl high on drugs and then sexually assaulting her.

James "Trey" Duke Creel III was arrested on February 19th.

According to an arrest affidavit, Creel, 30, asked a girl to walk from school to his one-bedroom home (described as a small shack) on East County Road 62 on a school day between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Creel allegedly wanted to do meth with the girl -- who went to school down the street.

Once the girl was high, Creel reportedly had sex with her.

The girl's aunt reportedly was used to be engaged to Creel.

The girl's mother reported the incident to Midland County Sheriff's deputies on February 4th.

Now, Creel is charged with sexual assault of a child.

As of Thursday evening, Creel was being held on $100,000 bond.
