MIDLAND--A fire at the Ranchland Apartments in Midland damaged a second and third floor balcony.

Fire crews responded to the scene on east Wadley around 4:46 Saturday afternoon. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly. An official on scene said the fire wall built into the apartment saved the inside of the apartment because it kept the fire from traveling.

No one was hurt in the fire. Investigators are working to figure out what started the blaze.
