Some Senate Republicans will finally get their hands on a series of emails that led to the CIA's talking points after last year's deadly attack in Benghazi.

The White House will release the emails to members of the Senate Intelligence committee, which includes Republican Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain.

Both Senators threatened to hold up the confirmation of CIA Director nominee John Brennan if the email exchanges were not released.

The emails are supposed to show what led to controversial talking points used by U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice to describe the nature of the attack on a U.S. embassy.

Some members of the GOP have accused the Obama Administration of deliberately downplaying the attack to the media because of the upcoming presidential election.

The White House denies those claims.
