We are looking at a very similar day Monday to what we saw today.

Windy conditions out of the southwest will create fire weather concerns through the Permian Basin with winds above 20 mph and relative humidities staying very low.

In the mountains, we are looking for a high wind watch with winds sustaining around 40 and gusts approaching 70 mph.

The Davis Mountains in and around Jeff Davis County will see a High Wind Warning, with a greater concern of seeing those 50+ mph gusts.

Temperatures will be close to 90 in many of our southern locations and around 80 through the northern Basin and higher elevations.

Beyond that, a cold front will bring us into the lower 50's Tuesday, before another warm up brings the 60's and 70's back for the end of the week.

Ahead of another frontal system, we could see a slight chance for storms Friday night into Saturday.
