Midland Apartment Fire Damages First Floor Utility Closet

MIDLAND--A fire at the Autumn Chase Apartments damaged a first floor utility closet Saturday evening around 6:00.

When officials got to the scene they found flames coming from the closet located on the patio. People were in the apartment at the time of the fire, officials said no one was hurt.

The woman living in the unit with her children said the fire may have been sparked by the water heater.
