Teen Victim Named In Fatal Odessa Motorcycle Accident

ODESSA--The Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly crash that killed 18-year-old Aaron Salizar Saturday night around 7:30.

DPS said Salizar was riding his motorcycle southbound on FM 1936 when he ran into a Ford Expedition driven by Elizabeth Hernandez. Officials said Hernandez was heading northbound on FM 1936 before turning west onto Dunn Road when she was hit by Salizar

Trooper said Salizar was not wearing a helmet when in the accident and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officials haven't release which driver was at fault. Hernandez was not injured in the crash.
