Midland County Man Accused Of Threatening Texas Department Of Public Safety Troopers

Joe Luis Cobarobio was arrested on February 27th.
Texas Department of Public Safety trooper say that Cobarobio, 39, went to the Midland Texas D.P.S. office to talk to the Texas Rangers about a pending case on February 27th.
Troopers reportedly told Cobarobio that the Texas Rangers were busy, but he reportedly became hostile and violent.
Multiple troopers reportedly asked Cobarobio to leave the building several times, but he allegedly responded by cursing at them and getting even angrier.
Eventually, several troopers reportedly took Cobarobio to the ground and arrested him.
Now, Cobarobio is charged with felony retaliation on a public servant, felony assault on a public servant, misdemeanor disorderly conduct by language and misdemeanor criminal trespass.
As of Monday evening, Cobarobio was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $76,000 bond.
