Almost eight-years to the day she got out of prison -- Martha Stewart returns to court this morning.

She's defending her company in a breach of contract suit.

She's scheduled to testify in the civil case - pitting JC Penney against retail rival Macy's over their relationship with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

At issue -- whether Macy's has the exclusive right to sell some of Stewart's branded products.

The trial could take three weeks.
