MIDLAND -- The Show of Support Organization is preparing to make its second and final distribution of funds raised following the Midland train tragedy.

The Show of Support Organization received an outpouring of support after the fatal November 15, 2012 crash, and the organization decided to dole out the money to the crash victims and their families.

The Show of Support Organization has already doled out more than $400,000 to the victims of the crash and their families.

Organizers say 60 percent of the donated funds will be divided equally between the families of the 4 veterans killed in the crash.

The other 40 percent will be allocated to those injured in the wreck -- based on the number of days they spent in the hospital.

The Show of Support Organization says it will hold its Hunt for Heroes event on November 21, 2013.
