Reel Thanx is a non-profit started here in the Permian Basin that takes wounded soldiers on an all-expense paid fishing trip to Lake Amistad.  This weekend will be their 21st group of soldiers. They take 4 groups of six wounded soldiers fishing every year.  Proceeds go to airfare, food, and other expenses related to the soldiers.

At the sporting clay shoot there will be two rotations; the morning rotation beginning at 9:30 am and the afternoon rotation beginning at 1:00 pm.  Lunch will be served between the rotations at noon.  1 in 10 shooters will be a gun winner.  Awarding of the prizes will be at the conclusion of the afternoon rotation, after 4:00 pm.  Auction, gun boards, raffle, and giveaways will also be held at that time.
