MIDLAND -- People started lining up at the new Chick-Fil-A location in Midland at 6:00 am Wednesday.

The first 100 in line receive free Chick Fil A for a year when the location opens Thursday morning at 6:00.

Chick-Fil-A bills this event as their "First 100 Event."

Organizers brought in a DJ, and had activities for the whole family for the launch celebration.

"It's a lot of fun though, there's a good atmosphere out here, lots of friends to hang out with and we love eating at Chick-Fil-A anyway, so it's a good deal," said the Dockery family of Midland, "It's a win-win situation."

The new location will open at 6 am Thursday.

It's at the corner of Wall street and Andrews Highway.
