Obama Looking to Meeting with GOP

President Obama is requesting face-time with Republicans over food to discuss a possible budget deal.

President Obama invited a dozen Republican Senators to dinner at the White House Wednesday.

A week from today, he'll sit down with Senate Republicans over a meal at the Capitol.

They invited the President to their policy lunch - at his request.

The last time President Obama attended a Republican policy lunch was in 2010.

And-House Speaker John Boehner's office announced the President wants to meet with House Republicans next week as well.

85-billion dollars in automatic spending cuts took effect Friday...and will be spread out over the next seven months.
