MIDLAND -- The City of Midland is looking to the future and outlining the things they'll need in the years to come.

Midland City Council members discussed the possibility of getting a new city hall during this week's council retreat.

The current Midland City Hall is more than 50 years old.

As the Tall City keeps growing, it will need to offer more services for the booming population.

The Midland City Council says it might take about $40 million to build a new city hall building.

There's no timetable in place for the project, but the proposal remains under consideration.
