A disturbance will spark thunderstorms during the evening and overnight. Best areas to see storms will be northeastern basin north into Lubbock and the eastern panhandle. Concerns will be brief heavy downpours, gusty winds and hail. Storms will push northeast and clear by morning.
A cold front will approach Saturday knocking temperatures into the upper 60s. Winds will be gusty out of the west. The front will push through dropping temperatures Sunday into the 50s.
Next week we will see a quiet weather pattern with sunny skies and warming temperatures.
