Carlsbad (NM) Police Investigating Alleged Sexual Assault

CARLSBAD, NM -- Carlsbad (NM) Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at an apartment complex.

    Carlsbad Police say that a bald Hispanic man sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman at the Copperstone Apartments (1101 Calloway Drive) in Carlsbad around 4:50 AM on March 8th.

    Police say the victim was walking to her unit at the complex from another location when the sexual assault occurred.
   
    Carlsbad Police say that the suspect in the sexual assault is about 5'4" tall and he's possibly in his early 20's.

    The man was reportedly wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.
