MIDLAND -- Two Midland men are accused of driving around with meth and marijuana in their vehicle.

Michael Neil Breed and Perry Harsman were arrested around 1:10 AM on March 18th.

Midland Police reportedly pulled over a BMW 525i after officers noticed it was traveling in reverse in the northbound lanes of the 3200 block of North Midkiff Road just south of West Wadley Avenue around 1 AM on March 18th.

Officers say that Breed, 30, was driving the vehicle, while Harsman, 50, was a passenger.

However, officers say they noticed that the men were moving to hide something, and they searched the vehicle.

The search reportedly yielded less than a gram of meth, a glass pipe, syringes, spoons, cotton swabs and a scale in a bag in the vehicle.

Police immediately took both Breed and Harsman into custody.

However, officers noticed a smell of marijuana coming from the back of their police cruiser as they were filling out paperwork on the arrest.

Officers say that Breed was trying to get rid of some marijuana in the back seat of the vehicle.

Now, Harsman and Breed are both charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than a gram).

Breed is also charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), possession of a controlled substance (less than 28 grams), possession of a dangerous drug and driving with an invalid license.

As of Wednesday evening, Breed was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $65,500 bond.

Harsman wasn't listed in jail records at the Midland County Detention Center on Wednesday evening.
