MIDLAND -- A traffic stop turns into a drug bust in Midland.

Elicedo Larez Robledo was arrested on March 19th.

Midland Police pulled over Robledo's silver 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck after he allegedly made a right turn without signalling near the intersection of Lamesa Road and Front Street around 8:05 PM on March 19th.

Police reportedly noticed that Robledo, 50, had an opened 1.75 liter bottle of Rich and Rare whiskey in the cab of the pickup truck, and he reportedly seemed nervous during the traffic stop.

Police searched the vehicle, and they reportedly found crack cocaine and several prescription drugs inside.

Now, Robledo is charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than a gram) and possession of a dangerous drug.

As of Thursday evening, Robledo was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $8,500 bond.
