Man Arrested For Carlsbad (NM) Drive-By Shooting Facing Federal Drug Charges

Gabriel Rodriguez was arraigned on federal charges for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in Roswell, NM on March 21st.
Rodriguez, 28, was arrested following a drive-by shooting in Carlsbad on March 9th.
Carlsbad Police say that Gabriel Rodriguez shot at Albert Galindo as he drove by Galindo's vehicle in a white Chevrolet Suburban along Kircher Street.
Galindo, 45, reportedly followed the Suburban and called police.
Officers pulled over the Suburban along Wood Street moments later.
Rodriguez -- was immediately arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Officers also reportedly found a firearm inside the Suburban.
Agents with the Pecos Valley (NM) Drug Task Force later got a second search warrant of the Suburban, and they reportedly found and seized 9.2 grams of methamphetamine from the interior of the vehicle.
