Odessa Animal Control officials tell Big 2 that they've released 3 of the 6 pit bulls that were reportedly involved in the attack.
The decision to release the dogs comes after the Ector County Sheriff's Office decided not to file charges for the incident.
The 6 pit bulls reportedly mauled Anna Marie Salcido as she was walking in the 3700 block of West 10th Street on March 11th.
Salcido, 54, had to undergo surgery for severe injuries after the attack.
Odessa Animal Control officials quarantined the 6 pit bulls for 10 days after the attack.
The owners of the dogs -- who were given several citations -- signed over the rights to the 3 pit bulls that haven't been released.
