The Mother Of The Minor Who Allegedly Had Sex With Montimere Speaks Out

For the first time, the mother of the minor who allegedly had sex with Guerdwich Montimere, 22, is breaking her silence. She spoke exclusively with Big 2’s Maite De La Rosa.

The mother told Big 2 there’s lot of rumors flying around about her daughter that aren’t true. So she talked with Big 2 to set the record straight and put them to rest. The minor’s mother said her 16-year-old daughter and Montimere weren’t dating, but had been good friends for a year.

"I've given him rides home from the mall on occasions that they were at the movies or whatever,” said the minor’s mother.

Montimere acted like a normal teen when she would give him rides.

“He was a yes ma'ma, no ma'ma type of person. Very nice," she told Big 2.

The mother said Montimere was 21 and her daughter was 15 when they allegedly had sex at her dad’s apartment. She told Big 2 her daughter had a crush on him and didn’t sleep with for attention.

“No one wants that kind of attention. She definitely don't want it. She's beautiful, she's smart, she's doesn't need drama like that," she said.

But, she's been teased at school, and her mom said many of her friends have turned their back on her. Some girls have even threatened her.

"They were saying they were going to get her," said the girl’s mother.

For the time being Montimere remains behind bars on sexual assault charges. He’s bond has been set at $50,000.  

Also, the girl’s mother said she found out her daughter slept with Montimere after it was revealed that he wasn’t 16-year-old Jerry Joseph. She told Big 2 her daughter is doing okay, but that she will be going to counseling.
