Former First Lady, Laura Bush was in town today signing copies of her new book Spoken from the Heart.

She arrived at the Bush Childhood Home, welcomed by a long line of people waiting to get their copy signed by Laura Bush.

Hundreds of people braved the heat and the wind, for a chance to be face to face with the former First Lady.

Most of the people we spoke too, said the long line was worth the wait.

Being from here, Laura Bush writes about growing up in Midland.

Not only is her book drawing a crowd in Midland, nationally its doing well. It’s currently number one on the New York Best sellers list for hardcover nonfiction.
