The man who helped a 22-year old pretend to be a high school teenager has been arrested.

Jabari Caldwell turned himself in to the Ector County Detention Center earlier today. He is now charged with four counts of tampering with government records, and was released on a twenty-five thousand dollar bond.

Police say Caldwell, who used to play basketball at U-T-P-B, helped Guerdwich Monitmer get into Nimitz Junior High by posing as a relative.

Monitmer later went on to play basketball at Permian High School under the name Jerry Joseph before it was revealed that he was actually a 22-year old.

He is facing charges, including sexual assault of a minor, and is still behind bars at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
