Midland firefighters are looking into what started a fire at a home under construction.
The home at 4800 Rustic Trail in Midland caught fire at around 3:30 AM on Tuesday morning.
When firefighters got to the home, the two story frame was fully engulfed in flames, so they focused on protecting other nearby homes from the flames.
The blaze apparently started in a construction dumpster near the home, and then the flames hit the exterior siding. What sparked the fire in the dumpster is not known.
Another home and a nearby car were also damaged by the flames.
