A Midland man is recovering after he was stabbed Tuesday night.
Police officers responded to a call at about 9 PM Tuesday night on South Calhoun in Midland. When they got to the residence, they found 26 year old Orlando Soliz in his front yard, suffering from stab wounds.
Soliz was apparently drunk at the time and refused to cooperate with police. He also gave conflicting reports about what happened to him. Because of this, Midland Police could not find out what the motive was behind the stabbing.
Soliz was taken to Midland memorial hospital and treated for injuries that are not life threatening.
Police won't pursue the case any further because Soliz indicated he does not want them to.
