Hobbs Police are searching for the people who robbed a Sonic employee at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.
The employee was on the north side of the drive-in loading items in his vehicle at about 1 a.m.when two men walked up. One of the men had a gun.
The two men forced the employee to hand over the night deposit bag. They grabbed cash from the bag and took off heading east behind the Bel Aire Shopping Center.
Both of the thieves have slender builds, although one was shorter than the other one. Their faces were covered by hooded caps.
Anyone with information on this robbery should call Hobbs Police at 575-393-COPS.
