Last night around 11 O'clock a Midland County inmate escaped from jail. According to Sheriff Gary Painter, 18 year old Tyric Andrews is on the run.

Saturday night, the guard on-duty was helping other inmates with their bedding and that's when Andrews took off. Andrews, is a minimum security inmate who was locked up for violating patrol on an auto-theft charge.

Andrews is said to be 6'3" about 176 pounds. He has brown eyes with black hair and a tattoo on his left arm that says “eastside”. We're told Andrews is a gang member with the Texas born hustler.

If you know of his where-abouts contact law enforcement immediately.
